Jan 2020 - Present
GROUP PRODUCT MANAGER
Chicago, USA
As a Group Product Manager at Superior Graphite, I am responsible for leading a global technical product management group and managing the company's carbonaceous material product portfolio. This includes developing strategy, roadmaps, and life cycle plans as well as executing business and marketing plans and sales strategies.
My expertise lies in creating technical product strategies for energy materials, including Li-ion, lead acid and fuel cells, as well as drilling and polymer additives. In addition, I serve as a technical advisor for procurement, production quality, and regulatory compliance teams, providing support for the development of raw material suppliers for natural and synthetic graphite, calcined petroleum coke, and industrial carbons.

Jan 2017 - Dec 2019
TECHNICAL PRODUCT MANAGER
Chicago, USA
Provided support for two key market segments: oilfield drilling and polymer additives. My expertise in product development and marketing resulted in the successful creation and launch of a new product that generated over $4 million in annual sales in the oilfield market.
Made significant contributions to the industry through my publications of multiple technical white papers and presentations at industry conferences, showcasing product attributes in polymer tribology, oilfield drilling lost circulation and metallurgical applications. I was the primary contributor to all product-related technical content on the company website and sales tools.
Furthermore, I implemented a new product change management concept and successfully supported the transition of the new process into the ERP workflow. Recently, I developed a new product that increases the thermal conductivity of polymers while maintaining electrical insulation, patent pending.

Nov 2014 - Dec 2016
TECHNICAL PRODUCT MANAGER
Hoehr-Grenzhausen, Germany
Proven track record of driving technical activities for the polymer market.
Creation of new concepts for carbonaceous material sizing using air and mechanical mills to optimize surface chemistry and conductivity. Additionally, I have developed a new dataset for polymer tribology, which I have used to provide in-house training and presented at international industry conferences.
Development of a new graphite product compliant with EU food contact plastics regulation (EU) No 10/2011, demonstrating my ability to stay current with industry regulations and trends.

Nov 2013 - Sept 2014
RESEARCH ENGINEER
Hanau, Germany
Devised and implemented a comprehensive polymer membrane chemical durability testing protocol for PEM Fuel Cell. Through this work, I was able to analyze the electrochemical performance of fuel cell membranes, conduct potentiometric titration-based studies on polymer degradation, and investigate the properties of carbon-catalyst polymer thin coatings.
Additionally, I played a key role in developing the Design of Experiments and analytical methods and contributed to technical IP write-up and literature review. Overall, my work on this project has led to a deeper understanding of the factors that influence the performance and durability of these systems.
